2011年前期、印象に残るアニメーションが二つ。
『[C] THE MONEY OF SOUL AND POSSIBILITY CONTROL』（シー）と『あの花』こと『あの日見た花の名前を僕達はまだ知らない。』
両者ともにノイタミナ枠で放送。全11話。
無駄が無く、失速感もなく、サクサクと作品を見せてくれた、そのスピードがまず心地よかったです。
個別の感想としては、
『[C] THE MONEY OF SOUL AND POSSIBILITY CONTROL』（シー）
前半、どうにも主人公が歯がゆかったのですが、製作者側の熱さが一話から伝わってきて、それにまず脱帽。
後まで、アニメでこういう事が出来るんだ？！ と思わせてくれました。
アニメというのは、どうしても視覚の占める比重が大きくて、ＣＧや色や特殊効果の深化に囚われがちです。より美しく、より実物に近く、より度肝を抜くような表現。
が、そこから一歩引いて、的を絞って成功を狙うのではなく、的を広げて、表現したい事、アニメというツールを使ってやりたい事を柔軟に追求し見せてくれたように感じました。閉塞感ではなく、開放感を感じるアニメーションでした。
これは凄い、と思ったアニメに電脳コイルがあるのですが、こちらでは、その発想と構成の緻密さに恐れ入ったものです。一方「Ｃ」は、しっかりした表現技術に支えられつつも失われていない瑞々しさが心地よかったです。初めての事なのですが、どんな人間ならこんな作品を作れるのか、が気になり、始めて監督さんのお名前を理由にアニメを見ました。「化け猫」「モノノ怪」です。こちらも、ある意味度肝を抜かれました。監督さんの矜持の底に見え隠れする、人間に対しての優しさのさじ加減が好きです。

経済の話、というものの、それを動かすのは人間で、その思惑の対立が興味深くもあり、お金に関する事はよくぞ言ってくれた、と思いました。紙幣・貨幣そのものの価値は、その表に記載されている価値と同等ではない、というのは以前から強く思っていた事なので。貨幣と言うのは一つの発明でした。貨幣制度を成立させるものが何であるのか、冷静に考えたり、歴史を見ていくとその脆さ・利便性が見えます。そして、人間の思考の柔軟性も。
『あの日見た花の名前を僕達はまだ知らない。』
これも中々、主人公が痛かったのですが、「幽霊」というものにどういう着地点を用意しているのか気になって見続けました。
音楽でも、文章でも、アニメでも、何かを感じる、という行為は受け取り手の経験や受信の癖に左右されるものだと思っています。こちらの作品は、個人の経験を呼び覚まし、刺激するものでした。私にとって。だから心に強く残りました。
秘密基地も、バスターズも、好きとか告白とか、どうしても別れなければいけない状況など、どれもこれもかつて実際に体験した事でした。また、個々の登場人物に与えられたそれぞれのキャラクターを立たせる為の悔恨も、少しずつ自分のものに重なりました。
致死に至る苦しみでない棘とどうやって向き合っていくのか、生きるか死ぬかという選択でないからこそ、ゆるくまとわりついて離れないのだろう、と思います。
ゆるゆるとした棘と、最終話で「せーのっ」で告げられる一生懸命の言葉の熱さに、やはり十代の命の熱量は凄いのだ、と感じます。
そして、日本語の好き、という言葉は実に豊かで、それでもその広い意義の中にある特定の「好き」という言葉に込められる、素直な思いを、ストレートに表現してくれた事にノックダウン。
これからの彼らの人生において、めんまに関する事が傷ではなく、枝々に残る小さな突起のようなものになって、健やかにそれぞれの人生を歩んでくれればいいな、と願う物語でした。

脳科学的にも、生物学的にも、10代というのは生物として未完成です。
人の表情を読む、という作業において、十代の脳は誤読を平気でします。たとえば、恐怖で目を見開き、眉を寄せ、口を歪めた表情を、「怒り」の為だと読みます。考える作業を行う前頭葉は二十代半ばでやっとその形態を整えます。そのため、それ以前に活躍する脳の部分は「感情」に関与する大脳辺縁系という部分になります。
「自分」というものに過剰に固執してしまうのも、必死で理解するより理解されたいと思うのも、たわいの無い事で衝突してしまうのも、どう考えても馬鹿な事をしてしまうのも、誰もが通らなくてはならない時間だと考えます。
ですから、どうか激しく自分を追い詰めないで、命の強さを謳歌して欲しいと願います。
思い出すと恥ずかしい過去も、それがあるから今があると肯定的に見れる人生を、誰もが歩めたらいいと思います。
そんな思いを、強く感じるアニメでした。
